Can anybody who's seen the Cincy games comment on how Michael Johnson's been doing at DE?

Is he simply a situation player to rush the passer currently, or do they have him playing with the base defense occasionally?

How far away is he from taking a signficant role, or starting?

In the pieces of the games I've seen he appears to be a rotational player who gets less playing time than the other ends.

He's rotational. Odom is playing very well and Geathers and Fanene are quietly holding up very well against the run. Johnson is unlikely to earn more snaps until next year unless one of the above is injured for an extended period.
