Michael Vick (1 Viewer)

Is it time to sell on Vick now or should you wait until after Week 9 (@Det) and maybe until Week 10 (CLE)?

depends who else is on your bench.

Seeing that 2 QB's went down last week, I would have a viable backup on my bench.

FWIW I have Bulger and Vick, and am holding onto Vick.

why would you trade a top 5 qb? i also have bulger/vick...i am hanging to him too. need vick in case bulger wants to make a tackle.

I have made the transition from Vick to Kitna and my WR's were weak...

I just moved Vick && Mushy for Wayne  to an owner that was weak at QB... (McNair, Huard)

I'm personally holding on Vick. I'm interested to see how this new "Vick Passing-Friendly Offense" continues to pan out. The results against Pgh can't be argued with..... and Crumpler was finally catching the ball.

I would only trade Vick if he was sitting on my bench behind Peyton Manning or Donovan McNabb. Any other situation, no way.

some yutz dropped him in my league for a bye week defense (had Chi) sunday morning. i picked him up right away. thank god, since hassleback was my only QB at the time.

Why do you expect Vick to stop putting up points? I agree with the principle of selling guys when their value is high, but only if you expect it to taper off.

The thing about Vick is that he's had three great running games (127-1, 101-0, 68-1), and one great passing game (232-4), but in each week, the opposite side of the coin was pretty terrible.

Look out if (when?) he manages to be merely pretty good in both phases on the same day. That's when you get the real payoff -- 200-2 passing and 60-1 rushing equals a 300-4 day from a guy like Peyton Manning.

In Leagues that are 1 pt per 25 yards passing and 1 pt per 15 yards rushing,

Vick is the shiznit.

But overall its hard starting Vick week in and week out. I just feel dangerous relying on Vick to rush every week for my QB1 points. I think Vick is a volatile spot on your roster that could do anything any given weekend. I'm begining to think I dont need that stress.

Traded him last week and now am finding myself wishing I hadn't. Suffice to say if I had him I'd be holding onto him. My only concern about him at this point would be risk of injury as he is running an awful lot (even for him).

If I still had him, I'd prob. be rocking him, a decent QB2, and Schaub.

If you can get a top 5 WR or RB for Vick I would think about it maybe and only if you currently have a top 5 QB already. Who is actually that weak in QB to give up a RB/WR in their top 5's?

Yep.
Peyton owner today traded Vick straight up for Javon Walker
Dumb trade.
How is that dumb? If he needs WR help and Vick is sitting on his bench.
I think he could have received a better WR for Vick than Walker.

schedule does turn tougher starting in week 11, but i think you've got to stick. he seems to have found his rhythm, and the last two weeks he's started throwing with a lot of touch.

What you want to do if you've got Vick is to go get Crumpler. He's a TE who produces at a high level, but links up with Vick to give you a sneaky hookup combo - a lot of folks look for the QB-WR combo to increase variance for the playoffs.

If you have Vick, you can see what he's wroth in trade - you might find someone willing to give you a ton for him, but I would doubt it. He's still got a stigma of not being good enough and that his scoring is a fluke. It's not.

I have Vick and Bulget and the only way I'm trading VIck right now is if I can get Steve smith for him. I made an offer to the Smith owner and am waiting to hear back.

Yes, definitely time to SELL.

Sell that lemon of a car you ride around in and upgrade to a new vehicle with your FF winnings, thanks to Mr. Vick.

sell?? i'm looking to buy. i'm crossing my fingers, toes, nipples and testes that the Vick owner is selling.

caveat: my QBs are Carr and Leinert. yikes, i know.

I sold last week after his 4 td game.

i got d jackson for him.

im happy with the trade. i never was going to start vick anyways.
