Mike Evans dynasty trade (1 Viewer)

12 Team Dynasty Full PPR 1QB 2-3RB 3-4 WR 1-2TE

I've got Zeke, Fournette, and Abdullah at RB and literally no one else, and my WRs are headlined by Evans, Golden Tate, and Marvin Jones (pure #### after those guys).

I'm entertaining moving Evans (who I've never been as high on as his consensus rating) to improve my depth, and I've got a couple of options that I'd love some advice on as I'm having trouble distinguishing upside.

The framework of the deal is:

  • I give Mike Evans
  • I get Allen Robinson, Rex Burkhead, and one of (Donte Moncrief, Josh Doctson, or Tyrell Williams).
A) Would you move Evans for that? B) Which of the fill in WRs appeals to you?

I have seen very little of Moncrief's play, and I'm worried about Andrew Luck's lingering injury issue with his shoulder. If Luck isn't throwing Moncrief the ball, I think his value plummets.

I was never super high on Josh Doctson, but he was a first round pick and put up good stats in college + combine, but the Achilles injury scares me when mixed with his age and uncertain place in the pecking order on the team.

I love Tyrell Williams, but the "flash in the pan" factor is really high for him. His measurables are elite and he's progressed pretty well for coming from a tiny school and basically having to learn to actually play WR, though.

Other possible targets at the fill in WR spot: Lequon Treadwell, Breshad Perriman

Any advice appreciated!

No way I do that deal.  Evans is by far the best player in the deal.  To deal Evans, I would need an elite player in return.

Out of the fill in WRs, it really depends....if you need help now, I would rank them Williams, Moncrief, Doctson......but if you're rebuilding, I would rank them Williams, Doctson, Moncrief.

Yeah, I'm thinking if I pursue this I need to up the ante for my side. I haven't given ARob much thought recently and I'm coming to realize that his perceived value is lower than I thought, so I can probably get more out of this. Negotiations are still early so I can come in a lot higher than above and see what plays out. He just drafted Mixon and Cook, but I have a feeling he won't part with either except for maybe a deal that's just ARob + Mixon/Cook, and I'd be wary of that. Plus I'd eventually have to move one of my RBs since I can only start 3.

Thanks for the response.

If you are going to trade Evans you should be able to get a RB that would help you out until Zeke returns.

Evans is a top 10 draft pick.  Somebody in your league will see the worth of him.  Especially someone who is deep at RB
