2006 NM Poker Champ
First kid in 21 years to 100% skip the minors and after beating St. Louis and Adam Wainright tonight, he's 4-0 w/ a 3.09 ERA. If he were a Yankee/Red Sox/Cub/fill in the blank team that ESPN covers, they'd be losing their minds.

Discuss.

probably a little trepidation with him because of his first start - 7 walks. but it was abnormal and he looks solid.

frankly, i think baseball has screwed up with its Super 2 or whatever the hell they call it. there's no reason for some of these kids to go to the minors other than to screw up their futures.

kids have gone straight from high school to the pros and thrown complete game shutouts 5 days after h.s. graduation.

Pretty awesome getting to see this kid pitch in person. Sick game this was. Now I get to goto Cleveland on Saturday and see Cueto pitch.

The kid is going to be a superstar by the looks of it. I drafted him in the 20th round of a 16 team league and haven't looked back yet.

Was at the game last night. That was a pretty impressive outing. Not only good on the mound, but he has a pretty good bat too.

More hits on the year than Dickerson or Janish... batting .417He's not flashy, but he gets the job done.I went to his MLB debut earlier this year with a couple friends and we were holding our breath as he weaved his way in and out of trouble. I never would have guessed he would be this successful after watching that start. I hope he's legit and can keep it going!
