Mike Peterson 2007 Value (1 Viewer)

Islander

What do you think Mike Peterson's ADP will be next year (redraft)? He will be 31 years old. Several LBs perform at a top 10 level several years after 30. He's coming off a major injury, but I have the impression that he is going to be a forgotten man next year.

I noticed Bloom's got him at LB30 for dynasty purposes. Do you agree?

What about his ADP for 2007 redraft?

Given the fact Peterson's injury was a non "leg" or "shoulder" injury, I see no reason to rank Peterson lower than Top-10 for dynasty. There's really no reason Peterson cannot rebound to his prior form. For reference, Michael Strahan tore his pectoral in '04 and responded with a 82 tackle / 11.5 sack season in '05.

Peterson is not old by LB standards, plus the two big bodies in front of him (Henderson and Stroud) are signed long-term.

To expand on my post, the only LB's I would trade Peterson for in a dynasty league would be...Hawk, Vilma, Urlacher and Bulluck. There are a few "maybe's" (Fletcher, Witherspoon, Briggs, Ryan, Sims, R Lewis, etc, etc) which have comparable value to Peterson, but there are only a handful of guys who I definitely ranked higher than him.

Isn't Fletcher older than sin now? I probably agree with you on much of the rest other than Fletcher (age) and maybe Sims being injury prone (concussion). Sims might be the next Morgan in GREAT talent, but always getting kncoked out.
