Mike Tomlin Intentionally Disrupted KO Return: Proof! (2 Viewers)

Steelers won't be docked a draft pick for Tomlin's interference. Decision just came down.
Weak if you ask me. A coach directly interfered with a game by intentionally going on the field to help his team. His team should be penalized, maybe not their first round pick, but a third would have sent the message.
There is no proof of this and no team has ever been penalized draft picks for a coach being on the field of play.

Stop trying to be a lawyer, it is obvious what he did it doesn't have to be beyond a reasonable doubt. I was watching the game live when it happened and could tell what he did, the same as every other non Steeler fan in world could. Just because it never happened before doesn't mean it shouldn't happen. Your location in your profile tells us why you agree with the punishment.

Of course it was intentional. Anyone who thinks it wasn't is either a major homer or not very smart.

As for losing a draft pick, I figured all along that the Rooneys would use their pull to make sure that didn't happen, and that is likely what happened.

It was a stupid punishment in the first place. Fine or suspend Tomlin if you want but taking draft picks from the team for this kind of thing was ridiculous.
Yeah because interfering in a play by a coach has no impact on the game and final results huh? I have to say its ridiculous that they did not take a 1st away to set an example. Knowing its just a fine and suspension what is to stop a coach from doing it in the future?

If it doesn't effect the NFL's bottom line, the NFL does not care. The NFL is worse off because of this.

Anyone who's ever ridden a bike down a "bike path" filled with pedestrians looking at their cell phones knows that people often--maybe even usually--do the wrong thing when they get startled and realize they need to move because someone's coming up behind them. I don't think he was intentionally interfering with the play; he shouldn't have been where he was, and he startled, and went the wrong way. I've seen it a million times.

Were these pedestrians watching the bike come from 40 yards away?

He's watching the screen, he's not watching the runner. If you've ever been in an arena and seen yourself come up on one of the crowd shots, you know how it's disorienting to find the camera that's shooting you. People don't context switch well.

He has enough experience with that to know.
