antibumping this to fix the time zone issue
I'm not sure if Cohen is still doing it, although I could be wrong.Perhaps it's due to the fact that Francesa won't shut his piehole long enough to get an update.
I was listening to Mike and the Dog yesterday and they were saying even though they aren't fans, they hope the Mets make the World Series so they would still have something to talk about because if not, they will HAVE to talk about football...unreal.I'm not sure if Cohen is still doing it, although I could be wrong.Perhaps it's due to the fact that Francesa won't shut his piehole long enough to get an update.Francessa actually spent close to the first hour of his "NFL NOW" show talking about Yankee baseball! That's almost hlaf of a 2 hour national broadcast about football! Could you imagine tuning into to ESPN NFL countdown and getting all baseball! He is a joke and WFAN has turned into a joke. Remember "Yankee day" the Friday before the Jet/Raider playoff game a few years back? As a result of the above he may have cut Cohen's segment - I'm not sure. It is a good segment though and always liked the thread. It is on WFAN.com as a listening stream. Good info if you can get through the Yankee/Parcells pom poms!
Oh please. Blowhard that Fatcessa is, NOTHING is better than hearing the despair and shock in his voice after the Yanks choked again. Ill give him a pass for that one.About S. Cohen, didnt he get a full time gig on Sirius radio (I think its Sirius)? If so, that may be why he no longer does the WFAN gig.I'm not sure if Cohen is still doing it, although I could be wrong.Perhaps it's due to the fact that Francesa won't shut his piehole long enough to get an update.Francessa actually spent close to the first hour of his "NFL NOW" show talking about Yankee baseball! Don't get me started about those two clowns - Mad Dog actually said he "missed the Met game Saturday night" - he also routinely misses the JEt games. Ever hear of a Tivo numbnuts? You could watch an entire game in less than an hour and actually have a clue of what you're talking about the following day. How someone could get paid millions to talk sports and just not watch the games is embarassing. They only like football a few select weeks of the year. Get ready for Yankee funeral for a week. Then Torre firing talk for a few weeks. Then Lou Pinella talk for a few weeks. Then A-Rod trade or no trade for a few weks followed by hot stove FAs! They just hate talking football which is bizzare!I was listening to Mike and the Dog yesterday and they were saying even though they aren't fans, they hope the Mets make the World Series so they would still have something to talk about because if not, they will HAVE to talk about football...unreal.I'm not sure if Cohen is still doing it, although I could be wrong.Perhaps it's due to the fact that Francesa won't shut his piehole long enough to get an update.Francessa actually spent close to the first hour of his "NFL NOW" show talking about Yankee baseball! I have no problem listening to his pain...but it's an NFL show! How do you talk that much baseball when you only have 2 hours? I think Cohen is on Sirius F/T - that's my new football mainstay - but I believe he still does the injury reports. I'll keep an eye out on Sunday.Oh please. Just wait until they have to talk about hockey. The clowns know nothing about hockey - not that they'll ever admit it, of course. But I digress - maybe Cohen is now relegated to Sirius, as noted.I was listening to Mike and the Dog yesterday and they were saying even though they aren't fans, they hope the Mets make the World Series so they would still have something to talk about because if not, they will HAVE to talk about football...unreal.I'm not sure if Cohen is still doing it, although I could be wrong.Perhaps it's due to the fact that Francesa won't shut his piehole long enough to get an update.Francessa actually spent close to the first hour of his "NFL NOW" show talking about Yankee baseball! But we'll get a lot of Tennis analysis along with Golf! Sirius NFL is now the place to go except for Joe Beningo after a brutal Jet loss!zamboni said:Just wait until they have to talk about hockey. Thanks.I used to post the Steve Cohen updates up on Sunday mornings. Been pretty busy with a new baby this year so I wasn't doing it, but Cohen still does the spot on WFAN every Sunday. I actually listened one morning I think 2 weeks ago with the intention of posting the update at FBG but I didn't really hear much that we didn't already know so I didn't bother posting because I figured most people wait for official word from ESPN Sunday Countdown anyway before making decisions. But if you guys really find the info useful, I'll try to start posting regularly again on Sunday mornings.
