MJD = Worst pick of the 2012 FF draft??

Most folks knew his situation and took a chance on him because of his outstanding prior year.

We knew he was going to be a holdout because he wanted $$$$ However, we all felt he was HIGH REWARD for where we drafted him. WRONG

2011 1980 yards rushing 8 TD's and 414 receiving with 3 TD's.

2012 414 yards " 1 " 89 " " 1 "

My pick was #38 in the 4th round of a 10 team league.

Where did he go in your draft???

Wish the Jags would have asked 10 weeks ago how this would impact my magic football team.

Jaguars placed RB Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) on season-ending injured reserve.

Jones-Drew missed the final ten games of the season with a sprained foot, and it makes one wonder why it took the 2-13 Jaguars so long to finally place him on the injured list. MJD finished the season with 86 carries for 414 yards and one touchdown. He has one year and $4.95 million left on his contract. Montell Owens and Richard Murphy will carry the load in the backfield this week against the Titans.

Now the word is MJD is going to have surgery on his foot.

I wonder if he had incentives in his contract to delay being put on IR??

I can't understand why they would waste almost 2 months before the surgery in time that could have been used for rehab.

Star running back Maurice Jones-Drew had surgery on his left foot Friday and will be out at least until May. The operation came 10 weeks after Jones-Drew hurt his foot at Oakland on Oct. 21 and created plenty of questions about why the team didn't opt for surgery months ago.

Wow. I can see not getting the surgery for the first few weeks but Week 10? 12? 14? What's the benefit in waiting until Week 17 when you're 2-13?
