My dad is thinking about ordering it for next season. He just wants the basic MLB ticket package and the lady on the phone said it was a 40 dollar fee and that is it. Is that correct?

Its a $40 fee for the Superfan which includes HD. Its $179 for the MLB Extra Innings package. You need the EI package to get the SF.
