There are a few general consistencies I see out in the Mocks. I find it funny that people simply take things for granted when they read them over and over and over. Kinda like an assumption becoming fact. This is the thread where you can point those out for people to take a step back and think before their own copy/paste mock.
McFadden will not slip past the Jets
Why do people believe the Jets will take McFadden if available? I have not seen 1 draft where Darren falls past them. Does ManGenious have a history of taking/grooming RBs in the 1st round? Do we believe he cares most about finding a balanced running attack? Where is the evidence that supports the Jets taking DMac?
Darren McFadden will not be taken by the Raiders or the Jets
Matt Ryan will not slip past the Ravens
KC or Atl taking Ryan? Not a chance NFL owners are learning that a 1st round QB not named Manning is not the way to turn around a franchise. Neither of those teams will be greatly improved by any 1st round QB compared to a 2nd round QB. KC is in dire need of OL help, DE help when Allen leaves and has extremely young QB in Croyle. Do you believe Herm Edwards to be a guy who cares deeply about the QB position? Atl on the other hand is in the most need of a QB. But guess what, they are in need of almost every position help. Now, the Ravens. Name the last Raven QB drafted in the 1st round. More so, the ravens gave up 2 1st rounders for him. I believe there is ZERO chance Baltimore will select a QB in the 1st round simply because of this. Baltimore's CBs are both in their 30's I believe and neither is close to being considered young. This seems like the most position of need for them
