Thought there may be enough of a mix of music guys and bracket guys to find this interesting.

64 "modern rock" groups seeded into brackets and they play a few songs from each while voting is open, winner moves on.

The bracket started today and will run through this week, view and vote here...

#1 seeds: Ramones/Smiths/R.E.M./Radiohead

ETA: can you do an N.I.T. so we can slot the Pixies/Replacements/Husker Du somewhere?  :coffee:

Y100's hay day was in the 90's before 100.3 changed formats and Josh took Y100 (now YNot) online.

That may be why there's a lot of carryover in their "modern" rock contest.
Fair enough.  Wouldn't consider them a 1 seed during the 90s either, but still a fun idea.

This would have been interesting to pursue. What were the results, I wonder?

I would go Ramones/Spoon/Modest Mouse/Vampire Weekend

That's an intimidating list.

And Reg Llama is talking about...well, we know...

We might be able to seed and draft this.
