With the release of Tom Glavine the Braves have moved Kyle Medlan to the pen and have announced their intention to call up Tommy Hanson to make his major league debut this Saturday against Milwaukee.
The release of Glavine and move of Medlan opens up a permanment spot in the rotation for Hanson. They had held off, wanting to have an opening with the intent that Hanson be up for good.
