Just wondering....I know he sucks...he's old and slow...personally I think Jackson is a beast and will get the money carries....but Linehan had Moe in Minnesota and used him in this role.

Also Moe scored with ease last night and looked quite good in down and shorts. Yes, it was aganist the other team ssecond stringers...but stranger things have happened.

No ... See Steven Jacksons weight and then see Moe Williams weight.

I realize that...but Moe has been studly at the stripe over the years. And last year S-Jax struggled sometimes in short yardage dancing around like a schoolgirl.

I think this is the big question about Steven Jackson this year. Linehan pulled this GL crap with Moe in Minnesota and killed a lot of the value of the main RBs that way. I wouldn't be surprised to see it in StL.

Moe is a good GL runner because he runs straight through the hole without hesitation and usually gets in. No side to side crap or dancing.

Linehan has also said that right now Tony Fisher is #2on the depth chart, and he did nothing to discount that with a great game versus Indy.

RB Tony Fisher appears to have a hold on the backup running back job for the Rams. Despite an unsuccessful attempt to trade for RB Michael Bennett and the signing of RB Moe Williams, Rams coach Scott Linehan said Fisher, signed as an unrestricted free agent from the Green Bay Packers during the offseason, has proven that he's capable of being the No. 2 running back behind starter Steven Jackson. "I think Fish has really shown that he's our No. 2 legitimate back right now," Linehan said.

Lets see if you were Linehan and wanted to keep SJ fresh, why not let Moe get the goal line td's. Linehan did this in MN and loved giving a split on the carries in Fin town. Jackson owners don't like hearing this, but Linehan's not playing FF he's playing to win. I own Jackson in one league and plan for this to happen.

I can see Moe getting 6-10 TD's at the expense of Jackson. This makes Moe a nice late round pick in performance leagues and a great pick in TD only leagues.

because he's decreasing the teams chances to win. Williams glory days as a vulture were 3 years ago when Michael Bennett was the feature RB, perhaps the worst short yardage back i've ever seen. Last year Moe had ZERO TDs.it took Moe two tries to pass the team physical, he was added for depth.

Well he's already 100% better this year based on his first pre-season game. He looked fairly good for someone who took two shots to pass his physical. :D

I don't think he'll be Brandon Jacobs, but he will probably vulture more than a few goal-line TDs alla Domanic Rhodes.

Doesnt matter .1) He has nt proved he is nt Bennett yet. a good pre season game does nt mean anything.2) Williams is a great GL runner who is almost never stopped.
Are you serious? Are you trying to put up a smoke screen because some of your league mates might be lurking the board? Have you ever seen Jackson run up the middle? You speak nonsense!

You do realize that Jackson's already been in the league two years and as such this preseason game was far from his first, right? The only explanation I can come up with for your statement is that you just woke up out of a long coma and are under the misconception that Jackson is a rookie. He scored 10 touchdowns last year. It takes Michael Bennett's three best seasons to add up to that number.

I can see 6 tds for Moe. He will get some work. S Jackson wont get all the carries. Moe could see 4-5 carries a game. Like most teams do. Jackson is still a #1 FF RB
