8-Team AL Only 5x5 Keeper league with a $32 Salary Cap. My roster is below.
I would trade my Carl Crawford $.60 for Markakis $1.60 and my choice of 2 of Beckett $3.60, Wang $1.00 and JJ Putz $3.20. If salaries werent involved I would take Beckett + Putz, but they are both very expensive.
Option A:
Keep Beckett $3.60, Wang $1.00
Option B:
Keep Beckett $3.60, Putz $3.20
Option C:
Keep Wang $1.00, Putz $3.20
Pitchers typically go for $4-5 in the draft and Beckett will go for at least 5 if he hits the draft. Wang should match (or come close to) Beckett's totals but not in K's. Is 60-80 additional K's worth 3X the price? Also, how valuable are saves? Should I run with 4 very good starting pitchers and try to pick up cheap saves throughout the year?
