Thats why its so frustrating. Its not like Ingram has hands of stone, I really don't understand why Payton, an offensive guru, makes it so one-dimensional when he's Ingram in there. Brutal.
From a non FF perspective this has to be a joke. Sproles has had a great start to the year and continues to be electric...He is a threat to take it to the house everytime he touches the ball.
Right its a joke. Ingram, in his final two years of college, caught 53 passes for 616 yards. Why would you want to get him involved at all in the passing game? It makes much more sense to simply trot him out behind a fullback on obvious rushing plays only, right? Not to take anything away from Sproles, but Ingram is a very good receiver-why not utilize a skill set that he possesses? Also, if the defenses see that you may actually pass to him, perhaps they won't stack 27 people in the box anymore.But probably not.
