Moss is Moss, a beast on a new team who seems committed to using him, but Favre is slightly injured and a potential suspension could be looming,

Welker is not Welker, still running his underneath routes and racking up receptions, but seems to lack his second gear and his YAC ability due to the knee injury. With that being said though, he did return some punts last week potentially showing the knee may be healthier than before, and should be the unquestioned #1 in NE now.

Let's say NO PPR since that changes Welker's value greatly. Who do you think has a better remainder to 2010?

Welker returned punts last week because Julian Edelman suffered a concussion during the game. Welker will probably do punts again this week, but it's probably not an indication of the status of his knee.

That said, I'd say Moss is def the guy to take going forward. Welker says he still doesn't feel 100%, and Branch + Hernandez look to take some catches from him. I'd say in another 6-8 weeks, Welker may feel healthier, and maybe the guy to go to for the remainder of the season.

Non-PPR, you'd have to go Moss. Averaging 8 targets / gm with MIN, and regardless of Brett's elbow, he'll continue winging it. Moss will get plenty of redzone looks, as well.Welker is on pace for about 105 receptions, a slight drop from years previous, but is averaging ~2 yd/rec less this season. Excluding injury to either, over the next 11 games:Moss: 45-50 rec / 750 / 7Welker: 65-70 / 575 / 2

I've gotta say, after reading your post, I was slightly in disbelief about the # of catches Welker has been getting. So I went to check Welker's stats, and was surprised to see his pace. I feel like I only see him catch 2~3 passes per game. Weird...

Too many targets for Welker to be a stud. I think he will do well, just has little upside other than 50-70 yards a game with the tds few and far between.

Moss on the other hand is still a little bit of an unknown, but I definitely see a bigger ceiling for him.

FWIW I just traded Fred Jackson and Welker for Moreno in a non ppr.
