Moves you DON'T have the guts to make... (1 Viewer)

My league (PPR) starts three RBs. Addai is currently in my starting lineup as my RB3 this week but I'm thinking long and hard about rolling the dice with either Sproles (who I think could be a huge sleeper this week) or Arrington (who I also think could do very well in his third-down role against the Niners). I can't bring myself to pull the trigger yet but I can't bear the thought of watching Addai p***y foot his way to another 40 yards rushing and 2 receptions against the Steelers.

I'm debating putting Torain, Colston, or Sproles in this week over SJackson and Addai in my RB2/Flex spots.Currently have Torain penciled in over both with Colston. Not sure I can stomach leaving it thoguht.

PPR and I really want to sit Westbrook for Turner and Chris Johnson for DeAngelo Williams. It's the DeAngelo Williams move that really has me fretting.

Often, the 'gut' is the best indicator of what you should be doing in fantasy football....

Last week, even though I saw that McGahee was 'active', I just didn't feel right about his outlook based on the comments I read during the week from the coaching staff. So I started M.Bush instead. No big deal as Bush gave me minimal pts, but McGahee would have given me a doughnut. I won my matchup anyway.

This week, I need a 'W' to basically stay in good position to qualify next week for the Week 12 playoffs in online wcoff, and I'm starting Torain over Calvin.......No Guts = No Glory!

On the trade front, I offered Fitz for Edwards and TO...It is a Keep 3, so I will need to keep one of those two, but I want to make a run at the title this year. I am scared he will take it...lol.

Edit to add: I would have to move Fitz in Week 10 of '09 or else would not get any compensation for him.

Start J. Charles or R. Rice over M.Lynch
I'd have to start Derrick Ward, Justin Fargas or Selvin Young in order to bench Lynch. I just can't do it. Someone dropped J Stewart to the waiver wire....if I get him tomorrow, I'll start him but I am way down on the waivers order.

Don't have the nerve to sell off Barber for someone with a cushier playoff schedule.
I can't blame you. I wouldn't either. I think I'd ride that one out. I am really tempted to start Quinn against Denver tonight. My other option if Favre against STL.

I'd start favre there. I have Favre and Rivers. I'll bench Favre for Rivers this week and probably end up regretting it.

Never over analysis a roster setup...your gut feeling is usually the right one...I started Edge over Ward last weekend thinking Edge should get some carries against the Rams...he didn't...Ward had a nice game...and I lost by one point...gut is the tell all...

16 team redraft. I've been struggling at RB2 all season (currently Norwood, Taylor, Torain are behind AP). Just cut my backup QB Collins today for Hasselbeck, to back up Rivers, and there are 30 QBs rostered, to give an indication that there is nothing better out there.

Another owner has Roethlisberger, Chris Johnson, Slaton, LT, and Lewis. I've had some talks with him about trading Rivers and a backup RB to him for LT and Roethlisberger. Both of our teams are contenders - top 2 in power rankings.

I can't pull the trigger. Even though I think LT is primed to have a great second half, which in turn likely means Rivers will cool off a bit, I'm worried that Roethlisberger won't come around, and, worse, could miss time. So I am likely to stick with Rivers and Torain/Norwood.

Funny thing is, I think the other guy has cold feet, too, and may not do it even if I wanted to.

I am in a similar boat and considering starting rice over Addai, but likely will not.

Benching Lynch for either Rice or Torain. I'm playing it safe because my team is a heavy favorite over my opponent's, otherwise I'd consider rolling the dice with one of the rooks

That...you will regret.
Hence my struggle. Heck, I might take a look at it again right now.
An exerpt from a Playoff Studs & Duds article I'm working on today. Just a suggestion...RONNIE BROWN - STUD

This situation is absolutely ripe for you Marion Barber owners. It's like a stairway to heaven for Ronnie Brown in the playoffs and, even better, he's been stinking it up the past three weeks, which will bring Brown's owner running to the bargaining table! Check this out...

Week 14, Ronnie draws the Bills 12th ranked run D. Not great but it could certainly be worse, you might want to sit him for that one for a comparable option.

Week 15 he gets the 9er's 19th ranked run D at home.

And if everything goes according to plan, you'll have Ronnie going against the Holy Grail of run defenses - Kansas City (32nd) for the championship game. What can Brown do for you? He can almost singlehandedly bring home a title for you this year.

I don't have the guts to drop McFadden. He's been useless all year but I don't want to take a chance and see him go off for 200 yards in Week 16 for another team.

Same boat here too...instead I have acquired Bush and Fargas and now own a worthless three-headed monster...really happy about that...

Don't have the guts to bench Steve Smith(Car) going up against Asomugha and start Matt Jones against Det

Don't have the guts to trade a guy in my league SJax & Fitz for Westy in a 1 PPR even though I have a bad feeling about Sjax getting back to 100 % this year and I have Steve Smith(Car) and Wes Welker as my other two WR in a 1 PPR

I have ADP in a keep one league.....I was able to draft Barber, Chris Johnson, and Thomas Jones....

we can start 3 RB's so I have 4 solid ones....

I could really use an upgrade at WR, but I can't get myself to pull the trigger on trading Jones....

I like the security blanket in case one of the other 3 goes down, even though I could improve my starting lineup at WR by trading Jones........

Benching Marshawn Lynch for Hightower & Ronnie Brown.
Earlier this week I thought I wouldn't have the balls to bench Marshawn in favor of Hightower, but I have gotten over it--Lynch will sit on the bench this week & I will roll w/ Hightower. Lynch (& his O-line) has not looked good. Don't feel like using them against NE
