My Annual SUPERBOWL SQUARES Board - (2018 BOARD IS UP) (1 Viewer)

[icon]

Insoxicated
Every year I make a board for myself and share it here and elsewhere with those who might be interested. I use the vector team logos and colors. The boards use a standard 4 tier payout, but if you have a unique payout system and would like me to make a custom one, just let me know and I'll be happy to work one up for ya, time permitting.

These are designed to print perfectly onto standard Tabloid (11x17) sized paper, though will compress down to LTR (8.5 x 11) suitably.

EDIT UPDATE FOR 2016

2016 $1 BOARD (JPG) >

2016 $1 BOARD (PDF) >

2016 $5 BOARD (PDF) >

2016 BLANK VALUE BOARD (PDF) >

The PDF is going to be better quality

Enjoy and good luck! :banned:

I built this off the same core file from a while back... curious what you're talking about here though?
When I click on the PDF link, after it fully loads......file name at top of Adobe window header tab: 2012 Superbowl Squares Pool Grid - 2014 Superbowl Squares.pdfno biggie
I just checked. Seattle and Denver are playing in this Super Bowl, too, so you can still use the template he linked.

I've played in a Super Bowl Squares poll for the past 30 years but I have never run one. If I did I would pick a set of numbers and use them for the 1st and 3rd quarters and change them for 2nd and Final:

0 would change to 2,

7 would change to 8,

3 would change to 5,

4 would change to 9,

6 would change to 1,

1 would change to 6,

9 would change to 4,

5 would change to 3,

8 would change to 7,

2 would change to 0.

I think it would make it more fun this way.

I've run one for the last few years at work. I only do $10 a square, and we have a lot of payouts. Besides the score at the end of each quarter, we also do some more randomized numbers like yardage (rushing, passing, total), jersey number of the first player to score for each team, etc.

There are 10 total "winning" squares. Each winner gets $60. Then I also do the satellites of +/-1 point in each direction. So if the score after the 1st quarter is 7-3, squares 7-2, 7-4, 6-3, and 8-3 each win $10.

There ends up being 50 chances to win - 40 $10 winners and 10 $60 winners. Not huge payouts, but it's a work pool and everyone seems to have fun with it.

This is a good idea. I think I will add a few more payouts to the $10 per square pool I run -- maybe another 50 or so and take it up to 100 chances to win. Of course, this will make each payout a little smaller, but I think folks would have a good time winning a prize, even if it was just $10.

One suggestion that I have added to my grid at work is to consecutively add the numbers 1-100 in the corner of each square in extremely small font. Allows for the grid owner to assign square #'s to a player that is travelling or not in the office, face to face.

Also, I'm not a fan of the extremely large Superbowl logo that was used as I know you intended the page to be printed on 11x17, but if you print this on 8.5x11 paper then the grid shrinks too small.....but that's just my opinion I know.

I bet if you printed it on a postcard it would be too small too.

I made it pretty clear it was formatted for 11x17.

Big thumbs up, thanks for this. I will be using at my super bowl party this year. First time running one.

Quick question, I assume that if not all the squares are picked and a final quarter score doesn't match up to any squares, then that prize $ gets rolled over to next quarter? or spread out?
