My Hand-Eye Coordination is at Its Peak (1 Viewer)

I don't mean to brag but at 42 my hand-eye coordination is at the highest levels. I've been getting a lot of "nice catch"'es around the office and don't remember the last time I failed to catch something as it was falling. Almost Neo-like in my ability now. The quality of catches is great too - no juggling catches and mainly one-handed grabs. Not sure the best way to take advantage of this talent - cornhole seems to have found its rising star and my talent is more receiving than throwing. Any ideas?

:lmao:

Was carrying a bunch of crap out to the car the other day en route to a cookout at a buddys house. One of the things I had in my right hand was a 1.75L bottle of Willet Pot Still Reserve Bourbon... this is a massive/cumbersome/heavy glass bottle about 20" tall, topped with a Wood-capped cork. Upon setting the tray of food on my floorboard with my left hand, the cork suddenly gave way and the the glass neck in my hand slid through my fingers and began a rapid fall toward my driveway.

Instincts kicked in, and my left hand snapped across my body and snatched the falling bottle by the neck, halting it's drop maybe a foot from smashing on the ground. My GF was behind me, saw it, and let a "nice save!" fly.

Wouldn't dare try it again, intentionally...

How often do things fall around your office?

Me too!

If I happen to knock something off a counter/desk or drop something, my hands move with flash-like speed to snag it and avert calamity.

I'm dying to test my new prowess in cornhole.

I had something similar happen a few years back. It was like I could see things moving in slow motion. I'd make snags and catches that just seemed like I knew they were coming before it happened. It got so weird that I actually started questioning if I had some sort of super human powers. It lasted about 2 months. Now I drop crap all of the time and walk into things daily. Not sure how I got it or why it left, but for those 2 months, I was like the Aquaman of catching things.

So after a lifetime of pitching, you find out you are really better suited to catching? To thine own self be true.

I salute you!

Might have lost your powers when you fell in the bathroom with your pants down.

I said my hand-eye coordination is peaking, but my overall agility is still in the 6-7 year old age range.
