My OUT ON a LIMB Call of the Week (1 Viewer)

Look for the Chargers to utilize Darren Sproles as a WR a lot this week. If you are desperate at RB, he could make a huge difference for you this week (especially in PPR leagues).

funny I thought the same thing David but was surprised there was NO mention of this from Charger watchers/writers/bloggers this week

Good, I hope there's truth to it, b/c if he's deployed out wide, then he can't be used on those stupid draw plays that don't seem to go anywhere.

Which sucks fi you're playing against Sproles this week......I don't know how strong of a route runner Sproles is, has he ever been a guy to split out like Marshall Faulk or Reggie Bush? Most of his value comes out of the backfield I thought...I feel like the Pats have nice LBs and a weak secondary, which would mean a poor game for Sproles. I think that Davis and Crayton both approach 100 yards today, perhaps surpassing it.I bet Gates gets a TD too, even with the injury. It just seems to me that it'll be easier for Rivers to pick on the DBs rather than the LBs like Mayo.

Knowing how the Chargers use Sproles they will unsuccesfully run him between the tackles time after time. Also predicting Woodhead outperforms Sproles.

Question is are they going to make him a part of the game plan on a consistent basis - I believe he only had 1 rush again.

He needs to get 5 rushes a game to be a solid FF play.

I started him in as a bye week filler in a 0.2 PPR that awards 1 pt/40 KR yards. Contributed a very solid 10 pts or so.
