I like Michael Turner, Brandon Jackson, and Leonard as potentially helpful sleeper RBs.
Buccaneers | Boston practices, may play in game Published Fri Aug 24 4:22:00 p.m. ET 2007 (KFFL) The St. Petersburg Times reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR David Boston participated in practice Friday, Aug. 24, and could play in the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 25, against the Miami Dolphins. Boston was arrested for driving under the influence Thursday, Aug. 23, but the Buccaneers believe the charges will not stick. Is he really still a "sleeper" if he's possibly going to be suspended for being under the influence.Or maybe it's that they understand the definition of "sleeper." The cat's out of the bag, Boston has taken the starting job-- he's no longer a sleeper. All the Boston supporters have went into hiding with the recent news...
I figure that with a name like Damarius Bilbo, how can he NOT be awesome?Deuce said:What's Bilbo's story? Haven't seen much on him.butcher boy said:Eric JohnsonLeon WashingtonDamarius Bilbo
I believe it's called "There and Back Again".
I'm amazed at how far this guy falls. In the days of "what have you done for me lately", people avoid him like the plague, and he's perfect for those who wait until late on TEs.If you like not drafting a kicker, here's a kicker I love picking up after the draft (not even last round) as a perfect sleeper candidate.B Watson

Oh no, he's definitely a "sleeper", but more in the literal sense. Is he really still a "sleeper" if he's possibly going to be suspended for being under the influence.Or maybe it's that they understand the definition of "sleeper." Someone who has never watched David Carr quarterback for more than a few quarters.Somebody better tell their o-line then. Speaking of sleepers, I think they "SLEPT" through most of last year (at least with regard to pass blocking). OH SNAP!kensat30 said:I think the entire Houston offense is a sleeper right now. Thank you, I'll be here all week.
Agree. Add Jacoby Jones if he wins the starting WR position of the Texans.Deuce said:I'm going with James Jones (WR GBP), Matt Schaub (QB HOU), and David Martin (TE MIA).Lets hear em...these guys could take you to the championship if they pan out. Ask anyone who picked up MJD or Colston last year.
Dont think Cooley is a sleeper but like the rest of your listWR - S.HolmesTE - C.CooleyRB - L.JordanQB - Big Ben
Dear god, good luck to you if Green and Jordan are your two backs this year. I like your gumption, though wouldn't bet too much money on ya.I do like Green this year, I'm attempting to throw him in as my RB3. We'll see how that works out.4 players i plan on having on my team who i think have a chance to be good enough to be starters:- Lamont Jordan - has a chip on his shoulder, has a better coach, and is running like old self. see him going 8th in later in some leagues. think i'm going to get him around there.- Ahman Green - I am seriously considering saying f taking a RB high this year, and just settling on green and jordan. that's a HUGE chance... but if Green can get 1000 and 8 rushing, along with 40 rec, 300 yds, and 1 td rec... he'll more than make up for 5th round pick it'll take to get him and the WR/Gates i'll have instead of RBs will make up for his non-superstar stats.- Jason Campbell - am planning on taking mcnabb in the 4th... and Campbell with my last pick of the draft as backup (10 team league). when doing my projections last week - i had Campbell ranked 9th overall... i don't have enough faith in my projections to let him be my #1 though- Jericho Cotchery - in my leagues scoring system he was ranked 19th last year at WR. he's currently absent from some top 40 list.
These guys might be considered sleepers... in Bizarro World. In no particular order:Reggie Wayne (could be Indy #1 WR)Joseph Addai (might not be sharing carries w/ Rhodes gone)Tom Brady (finally has some WRs - I see a big year for him, maybe QB #2)What do you think? Comments welcome.
How about Tomlinson and Gore?In no particular order:Reggie Wayne (could be Indy #1 WR)Joseph Addai (might not be sharing carries w/ Rhodes gone)Tom Brady (finally has some WRs - I see a big year for him, maybe QB #2)What do you think? Comments welcome.
as the time nears (9 hours away) i'm leaning towards just drafting Parker/Westbrook with my 1st pick. but i feel like that's being safe, which is what i normally do; i feel like shaking things up this year and i don't think it's a bad strategy regardless of how many thousands of articles i've read that advise against it. i don't think the numbers i projected for ahman are too hard for him to reach (unless he gets injured). my league only requires us to play one RB, 2 WRs, and a TE. then a rb/wr... if it required 2 starting RBs - i wouldn't even consider not drafting one in the first round.Dear god, good luck to you if Green and Jordan are your two backs this year. Not sure if you could categorize James Jones as a "sleeper" anymore. He'll be drafted above his value from here on out.My top 3 are sleepers (value)1. Romo 2. Santonio Holmes 3. Mr. Pink, Brian Leonard is going to frustrate the livin' bejesus out of Steven Jackson owners.ciaoMr. GridBrian Leonard
It scares me that i agree with a guy that cant count to three.WR - S.HolmesTE - C.CooleyRB - L.JordanQB - Big Ben
Wouldn't touch Grossman with a ten foot pole. I doubt he'll be starting by week 8.Portis, if healthy, remains an elite back. The 'gamble' is the reason he's being drafted so low. If he stays healthy, I don't think anyone will be surprised if he finished top 5-7 amongst backs.Easy....Rex Grossman (ridiculous how people are drafting so many QBs that do not deserve to go before Grossman)Clinton Portis (for where he is being drafted, it is the SOD)Lamont Jordan (again, for his ADP, he is a steal)
