Don't know much about him. It's only his 3rd year and he got zero opportunities in year 1.

I've heard talk he has bad hands. True or not? It's hard to rely on a guy that the QB is just going to lose confidence in due to bad hands.

I haven't heard definitive reports, but it sounds like Holmes might be out a while with even a "mild" high ankle sprain.

It also looks like Nate is now the speed on the WR corps as Wilson lacks the deep threat.

He has a good QB and balanced attack and Ward to draw attention.

I think he's missed one full game and Holmes still has 39 receptions, 664 yards and 7 touchdowns

Any Homers or Pitt gurus care to share your thoughts?

Tomlin said in his Wednesday PC that Holmes absence would be filled by a combination of Washington, Wilson, and Reid. So, don't get your hopes up about consistent production from any of those guys. As a player, Nate DOES have questionable hands. He's not consistent enough catching the tough passes (or even some of the easy ones) to be considered anything other than what he is - 3rd-4th string material.

He reminds me of Brandon Lloyd. Not so much in size or speed, but that he'll occasionally make a catch that will just leave you  and then he'll drop his next 3 easy passes.
