The idea was to make all offensive positions roughly equal in terms of their total points output for the season, e.g. by penalizing QBs for getting sacked/throwing pick 6s, and by making receiving yards/receptions worth more than usual. Defensive players were also attempted to be equalized. For example, LBs can be good because of lots of tackles/sacks but DBs can be good because of return yards and the big bonuses for INTs/TDs.(scoring link: http://football.fantasysports.yahoo....58059/settings)
