Our league uses long-term contracts but one of the provisions is that you get out from under a contract when a player is officially retired from MLB. Is there a link anywhere that shows when a player has filed retirement papers? I looked around on Cot's and couldn't find anything aside from a list of recently retired players. However I'm not sure how official that is since it lists Jason Isringhausen, who is currently in Mets camp.
