Need Help for my 1st Pick! (1 Viewer)

12 team, .5ppr , snake draft

1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1FLEX(WR/RB/TE), 1TE, DST, K

We just started a keeper league so my 1st pick is #3.  Antonio Brown, LeVeon Bell, Julio Jones, and Mike Evans have all been kept.  

The guy picking #1 will probably take OBJ. The guy picking #2 kept Julio Jones.

So that leaves me picking at the #3 spot and I can choose from these guys (who I think are worth it):

1. LeSean McCoy
   
2. Devonta Freeman
   
3. Jordy Nelson
   
4. AJ Green
   

I mean guys like Demarco Murray, Jay Ajayi, Zeke, Dez, TY. etc will all be there also but I think it's between those four listed above.

Who should I take?

Who are you keeping?  That matters a lot.

Out of the 4 listed, I would rank them in the exact order you have them since it's a 1/2 PPR.  So I prefer McCoy over Freeman and Nelson over Green.

I'm keeping Martavis Bryant for a 14th round and Paul Perkins for a 13th rounder.

I agree with going in the order you have them listed.  I think McCoy is a tier by himself over that group you have listed.  Then Freeman and then Jordy/Green are the same tier.

I'm a little surprised by the McCoy love. I think his value just took a hit with Watkins leaving. McCoy is the only guy defenses need to pay attention to now, and is a strong candidate to be overworked. I still like McCoy, but he'd be my 3rd choice out of this group.

Hmmm interesting.  But Watkins was out almost all of last season anyway and McCoy still tore it up.  The only thing that concerns me with him is injuries.

True, but that was also with a different coaching staff, and a different system. I'm really of the belief that if you can't get Johnson or Bell this year, punting RB is the way to go.
