Need Help-MFL Future Draft Picks - Dynasty League (1 Viewer)

In a Dynasty League in MFL for the first time (Dynasty Virgin) ...

We've acquired three first round draft picks and it says what owner we've acquired them from...

In the league rules they set-up next year's rookie draft based on record then lowest points.

Explain why it matters what owner you get the first round draft pick from - Is it because your placement (draft pick I've acquired in trades) in the draft depends on their final standings based on rules above ??

Or am I completely off the deep end

Exactly. The placement of the 1st round picks you've aquired will be based on those teams record this year.

you've got it....let's say you acquired a 1st round pick from Team X who finishes the year in 2nd to last place (in total points)you get "his" 2nd pick in the draft as well as yours.

you've got it....let's say you acquired a 1st round pick from Team X who finishes the year in 2nd to last place (in total points)you get "his" 2nd pick in the draft as well as yours.

to avoid confusion, it's not his 2nd pick in the draft, i.e. the 2nd round, but the 2nd pick in the draft.
