I've read David Dodd's article: http://subscribers.footballguys.com/2006/0...fectauction.php
And I am wondering how to tweak my vbd app for my league. We are doing an auction with a $200 salary cap and have 12 teams in the league.
It is the standard ESPN league: 1 QB 1 RB 1 RB/WR flex 2 WR 1 TE 1K 1 DEF/ST - and we have shrunk the roster to be 14 vs the standard 16.
I adjust the # of rounds in the vbd tool but it seems to have no affect on the output and I'm wondering what I need to do. In Dodd's article above he has selected a certain number of each position to total the $2400 total cap and tweaked his values to balance. I'm just not sure how to do this for my league with a smaller roster size and less starting positions.
Any insight is welcome. Thanks in advance.
