Need keeper opinions (1 Viewer)

I play in a 10 team PPR league. I have the first pick. We keep one player based on where we drafted them last year. Free agent pick ups are considered 7th rounders. My best options in my opinion are the following:

CeeDee Lamb -2nd round
Jalen Hurts 8th round
Kyren Williams-7th round
Trey McBride - 7th round.

I’ve almost ruled out Hurts. I feel like I can get a decent QB in the middle rounds. My concern is RB. Having the first pick all the good top tier RBs will be gone before it gets back to me. The big 3-4 (Breece, CMC, Bijan, Gibbs are being kept).

Would you keep CeeDee in the 2nd and deal with the RBs that will be left, or keep Williams in the 7th and draft Cee Dee with the first pick??

Any help would be appreciated!!

Lamb is a top 3 player so keeping him in 2nd round is great value (even better if your draft is snaking). I'd be a little concerned about rumblings that Kyren Williams job isn't as secure after they drafted Blake Corum.

In a keep one format you just keep the best player. That is Lamb.
This. Lamb in the 2nd is a steal.

You get the #1 ranked WR with your second round pick.

For the draft with your #1 pick I'd be fine taking another WR and lock up your WR position. Who might be there? Hill, Chase, ARSB even Jefferson. I'd be fine with those if all the big RBs are off the board.

Lock up 2 top 5 WRs with your first 2 picks. Imagine starting a draft with Lamb and Hill/Chase. Don't reach for a RB with your 1.01 if there isn't a good one there. Pick RBs you like along the way in the mid rounds. Having 2 stud WRs anchoring your team will be good and then make sure you just play waivers all year for RBs.

I'd rather play RB waivers than try to figure out which WR3 might hit on a given week. You never have to play WR3 roulette.

10 team 4 RBs kept. You will have a shot at elite WR. Lamb then pick a WR at #1. Sit back and smile.
