On the surface it seems like a great deal but its a 3 year keeper in year 1 of a money league. Both players im getting are 32 and Vlad is rapidly declining. Any help would be appreciated

NYY have a billion $$ payroll, and for the most part will always have a better team (more people on base for Arod to hit in, and more people to get him in), Wright I dont believe will have that luxury guaranteedEvery double Vlad hits, will put in a guy (Chone) for as long as he stays healthy. All of this thinks about this year... which is what you should be thinking of right now. And even more for the furture Arod will always be a first rounder (can't say that for Wright 100%)

A-Rod is going to have a season+ slump compared to what we are used to. There is also a major injury on the horizon. He will rebound nicely in 2012 with a monstrous season.
