Neighbor Situation (1 Viewer)

Given that you know nothing about them, you need to tread very lightly. If they're inconsiderate enough to do that, they could potentially be psychopaths who would do much worse with little provocation. If you're not able to get a read on them, I wouldn't even talk to them about it. Go with the boulders. Five years and no one knows anything about them? Huge red flag IMO.

Take it from me, YOU DO NOT WANT CRAZY NEIGHBORS. You'd be surprised how quickly something trivial can escalate when you're dealing with a nutjob. Feeling unsafe in your own home sucks.
No one has spoke to the parents. In fact they might not even speak English. I do know a little about them. They have two boys that are between 8-12 that I see a lot outside. in fact the school bus drops them off at my house but almost never see an adult outside or even coming or going.

My neighbor to my right has an email list for people on our street to inform them about news in the neighborhood and is in charge of community watch. He has went over to meet them several time and they will not answer the door.
Probably have some illegals staying with them. We had a neighbor a few houses down that would always have different cars in front of the house month to month. Turns out the guy that owned the place was using it to rent to laborers he hired. After a month they would pick up and go to the next town and someone else would move in.

Did they take good care of his lawn?

So this has happened twice in a couple of years? I don't have any advice in addition to what's been mentioned, but it doesn't seem like a huge issue and could be much worse.

Good luck.

I picture your wife walking over there and as they race into the driveway and get out she increases the pace into a jog. They run into the house and slam the door right before her last burst of speed. :peeksthroughblinds: Your wife rings the bell and says, ”I can see you right there" as she points.

Just bring a few beers over with a loaf of banana bread. Have a chat. Beer brings neighbors together. Plus, they're probably growing weed in there so the banana bread is a shark move.

I have had something similar happen. I have a corner lot so the side of my house is the same direction as the front of theirs and the back of my house faces the side of theirs if that makes sense without a drawing. I have a privacy fence around the back yard with about 15 feet between the fence and the street with a sidewalk there. Twice they have had guests that pulled over the sidewalk and parked next to my fence when they had people over. Just went and knocked on the door and asked them to move the vehicle off of my lawn and got a little roll of the eyes but they did it.

Just a weird thing to me, I would never consider going to someones house to visit and just pull up on the neighbors lawn.

Put your mailbox in front of the hill except put said mailbox on top of a cement post like you see in front of stores so cars don't ram into their front doors. Will leave a nice dent in his bumper if he is going a good speed.
