Howdy sharks--

We've got a brand spankin' new and totally free 5 Minute Drill for your viewing pleasure:

Some of you guys are probably asking: What the [bleep] happened to Shaun Alexander? And Santana Moss? And how's Michael Bennett going to do for Tampa Bay now that he's coming off the Chiefs' bench? All of these questions and more are answered in our week 7 look at the players and teams hoping to rebound.

As always, thanks for watching! Thousands of sharks can't be wrong... :lmao:

Glad you gave TJax some love. Those WR's were dropping very solid passes from him all day long.

I think with ADP's monster performance we should expect a bunch of attention drawn to ADP. Since Chicago couldn't stop ADP with 8 in the box what are other teams going to do? 9 in the box? Safety spy? I'm thinking upgrade the Minny passing offense from here on out-especially since they get Dallas this weekend who can't seem to stop anybody from passing on them.

Anybody? Seriously?Buffalo had 176 yards of passing, and StL had 125.Minny's passing attack isnt much better than either of those.

Another great episode of fantasy tips and fun!

I'll stake that the show was taped before the Sammy Morris' announcement that he will be out for a month. What's Cecil and Sigmund's recommendation on grabbing Kevin Faulk as opposed to taking Bennett?

Harrison looks like a long term project down the road but what about the guys who can't afford a BYE week RB this upcoming weekend? I wouldn't put it past Bellichik to pop Maroney out of the woodworks this Sunday instead of going with some sort of Faulk/Evans combo. It's Miami so why not use this game to slowly get Maroney back into shape for the final stretch?

thanks in advance!

I really like the bit on Matt Schaub. There aren't that many QBs I would rather have than him at this point. Top ten for sure.

Not exactly sure I'm buying into the Michael Bennett love either. I think he's had ample opportunities to prove himself....and he's proven to be a pretty sub-average starting NFL tailback. Fast as hell? Yes. Dependable starting option? No. Clearly, he'll probably have more value after the trade than he did a week ago, but I dunno about 1,000 yards in 8 games.

Having said that, I'll be bidding on him anyway since my RBs are paper thin after all these injuries/pending suspension/whatever.

We think Bennett's a capable guy, and he's really reinvented himself the last few years by becoming less of a speed guy and more of an all-around back; he's heavier and sturdier. Most importantly, though, the situation in Tampa is set up for him to have pretty good success, especially catching passes out of the backfield. We think 1000 total yards in the final 8 is do-able.

Thanks again for checking out the show!

I liked the piece on Harrison at the end. Given the choice between him and Wright I think I'll go for Harrison as he shows more upside.

I went and grabbed Bennett tonight because I have yet to be steered wrong by your advice. However, won't there be some adjustment period for Bennett to learn Gruden's plays, adjust to Garcia, the O-Line, etc. ? Around when can you plug Bennett with some hopes of getting you moderate fantasy points (aprox. 7 in my book)? thanks in advance!

what surprised me the most about Harrison this week was the fact that he was running well inside. He'll never be mistaken for a pile pusher, but he always seemed a little Amos Zeroue to me. I loved him at WSU, but in my Senior Bowl recap back in 2006, he showed that up against elite competition he couldn't get it done between the tackles. (At the end of the game they were feeding him the rock, he looked great until he got down to the goalline. 4 carries in a row from the one yard line and he couldn't punch it in.)He is DANGEROUS in space, on screen passes, sweeps, draws, etc. I use the Zereoue comparison because both are small backs who tend to get arm tackled too easily. I don't think he'll ever be a TD vulture, but he has the capability to be an all purpose threat. This was the first time in the pros that I've seen Harrison take his game up a notch. I hope he continues to improve and gets more looks from the Browns.

Thanks for watching the show!Kevin Faulk is a favorite of mine, I love my Bayou Bengal RBs - Dalton Hilliard, Harvey Williams, Cecil Collins errrr, Kevin Faulk, Domanick Davis, Rondell Mealey, Toefield, Addai - the list goes on and on.I think Faulk is going to be featured, but there is only so much he can do running the football. He is very versatile, and should do nice in all purpose yardage. I just don't see him having the type of game that is truly dominant. Especially since he should get pulled at the goalline for Evans/Eckel. You could see the Patriots - not completely abandon the run game - but become even more pass happy 'til one of their RBs (maroney, morris) come back.

Great show, odd that it wasn't showing up in itunes, had to watch it via the web

Kevin Faulk is akin to David Meggett, both play a similar style of football

Mole

Great to see some love for Benson, he seems to be the FF punching bag this year. I still think he has value, ranked #19 RB in my league and seems to be running with a purpose as the year has gone on.

It can take a while to show up in iTunes but usually shows up much faster if you subscribe.

Harrison bulked up in the off season to try to improve his blocking (The one reason that he hasn't more playing time) It's pretty obvious that the off-season work has really improved his inside running. I still have my doubt on weather or not he could hold up as an all purpose guy, but those doubts are fading more and more as I see him on the field.
