Hmmmm, 1-4 is better than 4-7, who knew?Just to add a small bright side, at least you can say that the Lions played better under Jauron than they did Mooch this year.

No, hate is the right emotion. It's where I'm at.If this is indeed true I will be so pissed off at the Bills organization. I live in Buffalo and it is now clear that we are nothing more than a joke to the rest of the NFL. I stinkin' hate this darn team. (maybe I should have waited to calm down before I posted)
Ummm....huh?Sherman wanting a guy is certainly no ringing endorsement given how he drafted for the Packers. And what in his career would make you think he could make something of the young QB? How he handled Favre during his time there?because he actually wanted to draft JP Losman with the Packers, and the Bills moved up ahead of them to get him. If anyone could have made something of JP, it would have been Sherman.

This just seems so fittingYOu are correct, it takes a special kind of suck to go from 13-3 to 4-12 in one year.An abberation from the norm is considered a fluke?Interesting definition there. Regardless, even if you consider the Bears 2001 season as a fluke, that doesn't mean Jauron's work was a fluke.+--------------+----------+| Reg. Season | Playoffs |Why was Jauron's 13-3 season a fluke? And when does a coach get credit for a team outperforming expectations?

An abberation from the norm is considered a fluke, therfore, a season of 13-3 is a fluke season. Even with that ONE season of 10 games over .500, you can see his career is 13 games UNDER .500. And that is a bad record...
Hmmm...a player's coach? Sounds to me like "a guy who can't keep the inmates from running the asylum." I know you probably didn't mean to convey that, but what exactly do you mean by "player's coach?"As to knowing football as well as any head coach in the league, that's far FAR too complimentary given his record in Chicago. Color it with any brush you want but four of five seasons were losing records, with three of the four generating six or fewer wins. And for a guy known as a defensive mind, Jauron's Bears finished 1st one year [they were 13-3 that season] but were 20th or worse in points allowed every other year.**** Jauron is a players coach who knows the game of football as well as any head coach in the league. If you give him the talent, he will win. Time will tell if the Bills have the players, but they will be in every game and the players will know their role and perform to the best of their abilities. I believe Buffalo fans will be singing a different tune in three years, assuming of course, that Marv Levy can evaluate talent.
