New England at N.Y. Giants (Preseason week 4) (1 Viewer)

They resurected Strahan. He should be ready for the start of the season.

Shockey is in right now, he caught 1. Jacobs did a little run, nothing special. Toomer just caught a 1st down.

NICE run by Jacobs. 5 guys had to push him like 15 feet to the sideline and he still never went down. THey kind of just walked him off. haha.

And then he catches one and a guy taps him on the ankle and he falls. Go figure.

Childress is making catches for the Pats thus far. At least 2 solid catches that I saw.

Someone is rumored to be interested in Vinny Testerverde? Thats what they just said in the broadcast but I missed the team as I was typing this. Anyone catch who?

Pats marched down the field on the opening drive. 14 plays with a 4th and inches TD plunge by Heath Evans. Ate up half the first quarter.

Pats blocked a kick on the Giants first drive. New England didn't do much on the pursuing drive and punted fairly quickly.

Dillon 4 carries for 12 yds and 1 catch for 11 yds. No Maroney. Does that mean the Pats are resting their NEW starting RB Maroney?

I was thinking the exact same thing.Very interesting to those of us lucky enough to have this year's Larry Johnson on our rosters. Ratface did come out after the draft and say that he thought Maroney could become the best RB in the NFL. ;)

Have they shown Maroney on the sidelines at all? I'm still not sure what this "undisclosed reason" was as to why he hasn't been active.

I'm nooot quite ready to say he's this year's LJ. But... that'd sure be nice.

Kiwanuka is already the best 3rd DE in the league.
That could be true, and he would be the 3rd best on his team, too. :banned:
Ummm, right. He's their 3rd DE. And I can't think of a 3rd DE in the league I'd take over him. Thus the best 3rd DE in the league.Shoot, Tuck might be the best 4th DE.
(I read it as third best in the league, my bad.)
Heh, I figured. I'm unhappy with this observation, as I wanted the Raiders to draft Tuck two years ago, and Kiwi in April. Kiwi and Osi for the next 10 years, not bad.

Jared Lorenzon

Position: QB

Height: 6-4

Weight: 285

Brandon Jacobs

Position: RB

Height: 6-4

Weight: 264

Total combined weight - 549 pounds!

I didn't see the game tonight. I hear Troy Brown took some snaps at QB; with the Pats set to carry only Brady and Cassel at QB, it looks like Brown would be the 3rd QB in case of emergency. Can someone tell me what went down?

Can we get some reports on Jacobs?

15/130, 2TD is a pretty impressive stat line, even if it was against backups.

Seriously, is this guy going to eat into Tiki's numbers?
