(KFFL) Chris Pika, of NewOrleansSaints.com, reports New Orleans Saints LB James Allen (knee) will be out for the 2006 season after rupturing the patella tendon in his right knee during non-contact drills. Necessary surgery has been performed to begin the rehabilitation process.

No kidding.Between the Polley/Foreman speculation, Watson's mutliple trades, the rumors surrounding Donnie Edwards, and the movement of the four established backers from position to position, it looks like nothing may be for certain here until deep into training camp.
