Looking to fill a 10 or 12 team league...need 5 to 7 more owners to fill spots. I am looking specifically for owners with good experience and not ones that draft and leave. You will have to keep up throughout the year and be attentive and somewhat aggressive in order to do well in this league. Site is covered for this year, so 100% payouts.
Here is the League site: http://www3.myfantasyleague.com/2010/home/67828#0
Its what I call a TD/Performance/Hybrid PPR League...All the scoring rules are here: http://football3.myfantasyleague.com/2010/...=67828&O=09
Everything is up there preliminarily (I may still do some small small tweaks, (add helmets, banner, tweak the rules a bit more, but the league would be good to go by the end of June))...
This is a very solid league setup. Have run a similar setup for over 10+ years under a different League moniker. The guys in the other league have loved the lower-scoring, very competitive, on a weekly basis, nature of this league. Most have been there for the long haul.
For this league, I have initially entered the other teams that have expressed interest. We would need at least 5 more for a ten team league, 2 divisions. Optimally, I'd really like 12, with 3 divisions. Plus with more, playoffs tend to be better.
Initially I'm thinking the league fee would be somewhere around $30-$50, probably more along the lower end of that range. Not really concerned too much about the funds, just running and participating a solid fun league that guys enjoy and come back to every year. Probably use Paypal or Leaguesafe for accounting purposes.
Initially I have it setup as an email-style Auction draft at this time which would start July 31st and go until everyone has 17 spots covered. However, I would be up to doing a 3rd Round Reversal-style Online Draft as well. Either one I feel are by far the most fair way of drafting.
Each team would be required to draft a TE, and play them, however, it would also be a flex-player league, in that you would have the opportunity to choose from 5-6 different starting formations, (affecting the RB-WR-TE positions) . Those are in the League Rules Setup: http://football3.myfantasyleague.com/2010/...amp;O=26..There is a lot of flexibility here.
Trades are allowed, Commish approved. Free Agents are picked up via Blind Bid and Supplemental Waiver Wire Priority Order method at no additional costs.
In a nutshell, thats a bit about it...I think people would really enjoy this league. Look things over and let me know your thoughts...Im ready to get things rolling!!
