New to IDP, LB help (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

First post, I wish I had found this site before my draft. I've started reading a lot of the pinned topics, and I promise I'll finish them before my next plea for help. Thanks for pinning some great material.

I keep going back and forth on whether to start Merriman or Andra Davis. I would expect Davis to be on the field more this week, and I doubt NO ends up getting too far behind to abandon the run game. Merriman looks like he may be able to pin his ears back all day, but I expect SD to win the time of possession.

Scoring is:

1 pt per tackle, .5 per assist

4 pt per sack, int

2 pt per forced fumble, pass defended

This one's close in your scoring system.Comes down to whether you want to play for the big game (Merriman) or not. And whether you're a believer in the "big players play big under the lights on MNF".Risk-reward, baby. Davis is the "safe" play probably, but Merriman could be a monster.Welcome to FBG.

I agree with Jene. Davis is probably a lock for 7-10 tackles. While Merriman can win a game for you all by himself. If the rest of your team is solid then i would risk the home run and go Merriman.
