Hey guys, Our league is about 6 years in and we finally started the WW on CBS

The problem is,

Does the team with the worse record get all their picks before you move on to the next team.

I wanted to pick up Buffalo and M. Turner

the guy in front me wanted both also and ended up with them

it seems that it should one pick at a time.

Any input would be appreciated

In our league, its based on draft position, so in a 12 team league, the team with the first draft pick, would be 12th in the WW priority to start the season.

But as soon as picks are made from the WW it changes i.e. once the person with the #1 WW priority makes a successful claim, they would go back to 12th WW priority.

Hope that makes sense.

How much time does each team get to make their picks? In my league it's- first come/ first serve.

How much time for what kind of picks?? WW picks?? Yes, those are first come, first served. But there is a 1 day waiting period when a player is dropped before they can be claimed off waivers.

The waiver wire order is typically worst record to first. You enter your selection(s) and if everyone picked just one player, whomever is ahead of you can take that player or it falls to you. If multiple players are requested, then it goes through the progression from 1 to 10 for example and then starts again. In your scenario, he can only take one player before you. So, if he took Turner and you wanted him, you're out of luck. However, if you had Buffalo as your second pick you should get them.

Here's how you set it.

Pickup Turner drop player A

Pickup Buffalo drop player A

There is also an explanation after the picks that tells you what happened, go to add drop to see.

It should be one pick per team. Team A gets the first pick on his list, then he drops to the bottom of the order. Team B then get the first pick on his list, then drops to the bottom. Rinse and repeat.
