What do people think about doing an auction for every draft pick and then doing a snake draft?

Start out with $200 and nominate draft picks to bid on like 4.01, 1.02 and what not.

I think this would be very interesting seeing how people would bid in this league.

I would think set it up for a snake style draft (20 rounds or so) and then let people place bids for the first 5-7 rounds. There would be additional strategy involved in trying to 'stack' picks in the first 5 rounds, and make the bidding more intense rather than having a cr*p load of lowball bids for all the later picks. Most fun parts would be offering up other peoples picks in the early rounds for bid and trying to screw with their strategy

Might be interesting but is your league going to put up with the time to essentially do TWO drafts? - first auction off the draft spots then do the actual draft
