Next Year's Top 10 WRs (1 Viewer)

I honestly don't see how Dez Bryant can be on any of these list. He has the talent, Maybe. Not the production.
We're in week 8 of his rookie year. He wasn't allowed to play most of last year at OSU, yet he's the #22 WR in my leagues. The production is there enough to make him a top 10 next year and there's no "maybe" about his talent.
Really!? I'm a Dez owner and I think he's in the 40's in my league...49th in yards and 43 in receptions. Maybe I'll be able to get the best second year WR for a steal with all this Dez hype.

Pierre Garcon could find himself sniffing the top 10 next season. He's just getting better and better.
As a Pierre owner, I don't agree. He is still wildly inconsistent. He'll make amazing highlight reel grabs on one drive, and then drop two balls that hit him right in the hands the next. He's certainly got the potential, but I'm not sold on him long term in any way. I think if Manning someone leaves in the next year or two, his value plummets.
Too many mouths to feed in Indy and you may also be underestimating Austin Collie. He was very good out of the gate last year as a rookie. And this year, he and Peyton had great chemistry in the first 6 games, even while Collie was nursing a foot injury: 44 catches in 55 targets and 6 TDs. I might rate Collie over Garcon.

Good thread

I see Crabtree moving up.

No way Singletary stays there, and if they flirted with Warner 2 years ago, who says they don't go after mcnabb?

At least mcnabb would be somewhat of an improvement.....they have to hire an offensive minded coach to get the most of VD and crabby

Here's mine:

1. Calvin Johnson

2. Hakeem Nicks

3. Roddy White

4. Andre Johnson

5. Larry Fitzgerald

6. Dez Bryant

7. Miles Austin

8. Mike Williams

9. DeSean Jackson

10. Anquan Boldin

Wouldn't the same thing have been said of Nicks at this time last year? In fact you would have been laughed at by some and now look. It's not about now but how his talent will project in that offense going forward.

Most of my leagues give points for returns, that helps Dez a lot. He's just top 40 in my leagues that don't. Still, for a guy who didn't play after Oct 7 last year and is a rookie with Austin and Witten ahead of him, that's not bad.

My Projected 2011 Dyansty Top 10:1. Roddy White- All pieces will be the same2. Andre Johnson- Schaub and AJ have been locked up for years3. Calvin Johnson- The offense is still shaking out a bit vs the two WRs ahead of him4. D Jackson- Coming into his prime. Vick being there would be helpful, but Kolb ok too.5. Boldin- Seems to own the #1 spot for a QB coming into his prime6. Nicks- Will still have to share the ball7. Wallace- With Ward fading out, Wallace should assert himself8. Bryant- He's impossible to cover already; knocks Austin down to the Top 159. Wayne- His descent is underway10 M Williams- Probably over-reaching here, but if Freeman moves to 25 TDs next year, Williams is likely to do wellNotable omissions: Marshall, Fitz, Lloyd, Jennings, R Moss, etc.Where am I going wrong here? D Jackson too high? Boldin too high?
if Wayne is fading Garcon is ascending by default, no?Nicks >>>>>>>> D JacksonWallace won't be a top 10 WR.. Ward's demise isn't happening anytime soon, and even if it did happen next season, Wallace is not a #1 wr - he'd still play second fiddle to someone else on that Steeler's roster - it's what he's best suited for..Dez B. and Austin Miles cancel each other out..

pretty sure we can bump Dez up a bit now.

There are four uber stud talents at WR: Calvin, Larry, AJ and Dez

I'm 90% sure by the time we do a top 10 dynasty ranking next year Dez Bryant would slot in the top 5. It's getting more evident week by week.

Mike Williams(TB) is still severely underrated what else does he have to do to get more consideration? If this rookie class didnt have the uber stud Bryant them everyone would be talking Williams... Every week this kid gets a consistent 85+ with a TD

Put nicks in that top line as well.

Nicks is awesome but he does not possess the physical talent of the other four... Thats not to say he can't out produce them in any given year much like Roddy White, hes just a notch below those four elite talents.

Looking back at the Wallace-bashing last year and he turns out to be consensus Top 10 this year after all.

Boldin? WTF! I wouldn't put him in my top 25.
Check the date of the first post. He did pretty well in his prognostications (though it would have been really impresive if they were made in July/August instead of November).

Haha how do you figure, He can leap with any of them is 6-1 218 pounds and is a superb route runner and has some of the best hands and biggest hands in the league. The guy wears oven mitts and is physical/fast enough to be in top 2 wrs... I think he is my number 1 overall wr coming into 2011 for dynasty ppr.
