NFL 2023 Schedule "Leaks" (1 Viewer)

The Eagles will play the Giants on Christmas Day.

The game will be in Philadelphia, leaving open the possibility that Santa Claus will once again be booed in the City of Brotherly Love. Jalen Hurts and the Eagles ripped the Giants in the Divisional Round last January, cruising to a 38-7 victory on their way to the Super Bowl. Daniel Jones, after playing well in the Wild Card round against the Vikings, was shut down from start to finish, managing just 135 passing yards, no touchdowns, and one interception. Hurts threw for two touchdowns and ran in another while the Eagles piled up 268 rushing yards. The Christmas Day game could have major postseason implications if the Giants continue their upward trajectory with Brian Daboll at the helm.

Black Friday

Huh

Thats going to be a hell of a week for FF scoring with games on Thursday, Friday, Sunday, & MNF.
I think my league is going to let the computers handle the scoring instead of scoring by hand from the box scores. You should look into that

(you know the wink-face emoji is implied)
Laughing, but I meant it in a sense that it’s a good thing to get so much football on so many days.

But also it’s a little frustrating to have scoring periods unfold over such a long span. Feels FF baseball-ish in that regard.

Agreed. With these multi-game weeks, it messes with the brain when watching your fantasy scoreboard. If your Thursday players score big, you’re loving the “head start”. If you have no Thursday players going at all, you love that you have more players “in the bank” for Sunday/Monday. In the end, it doesn’t matter. It’s just the interesting gambling psychology of it all.

Exactly. I kinda miss the days before TNF, when the only Thursday football were the Thanksgiving day games.

FF was mostly Sunday, Sunday night, and MNF. And we liked it that way!

Now get off my lawn!
You're not alone in wishing Thursday games didn't happen. Season kickoff and Thanksgiving the only exceptions for me.

Chiefs and Raiders on Monday, Christmas Day at noon.

Hate it. I'm ok with a Christmas monday night game as that is a normal NFL window. But hate they are expanding that day on Christmas.

Gotta capitalize! 💰💰💷💴🪙🤑
Totally agree. Very little chance we’ll actually watch that game. Christmas night would be fine for us. We’ll usually be back from the in laws and relaxing.

I'd really prefer Thursday games stay off my lawn too. Don't mind the Black Friday or the Saturday games when CFB is off thought.

Miami plays its AFC East opponents away games earlier than the home games. I wonder if the 2022 sauna home game vs BUF in September and the snowball game @BUF in December had anything to do with it. OTOH, supposedly weather (and fan safey) has nothing to do with the unbiased scheduling algorithm. This would be a 1 in 8 occurrence for those speculating.

Lions (dome) usually plays in Green Bay late in the weather. This year it's in September.
