Sig, how do these rankings address players who could be a either a 3-4 OLB or a 4-3 DE?As an example Everette Brown and Brian Orakpo are only ranked under the 3-4 OLBs.Is it based on where they're projected to fit in best?If yes, by what criteria?
It is projected based on where they'll fit best/provide the most value for the team that drafts them.4-3 DE needs to be at least around 6'3" and weigh around 260 to hold up on every down3-4 OLB needs to be agile/athletic enough to drop into coverage and pursue well against the runEdge rushing speed is a little more important for 3-4 OLBs because they'll be stand up rushers, a variety of moves is more important for 4-3 ends, because they will have their hand on the ground and not be lined up at such a sharp angle.A lot of these guys can fit in either scheme - Sidbury, Ayers, Johnson, Orakpo (and more), but I thought it made more sense to break them up even though some of each list may end up at the other position. I wanted the rankings to look more like a board for a team based on whether they play the 3-4 or 4-3 than just lumping everyone together and getting the apples and oranges problem.
