I went with NFL Network for the "new-ness" factor, but I can easily see flipping back and forth with ESPN (and also listening to my boys Cecil, Woodrow and Bloom online).

nflnetwork and web

I will definitely try listenning to Cecil, Bloom, and Woodrow.

The talk during the TV shows usually bores me after a while so I like to flip around

I'm hosting a poker tourney during the 1st day of the draft - and I'll probably have ESPN on. Unfortunately for me - someone might want to watch the Pacers playoff game on Saturday afternoon (which I don't want to watch) - so that could be a conflict.

You're hosting it, right? Then, I should think, you get to decide what's on the tube.

I know. I want to be a good host, though (this is the first time I've ever hosted anything in my life). I hope no one cares enough about the about the Pacers to ask me to switch the channel.

Thought there would be many/Both.

I'll Probably switch between NFL Network and ESPN with a few checks on the internet for profiles on players I want more info on.

(I posted this in the other thread about this subject too...)

You know what really bugs me about ESPN's coverage? It's not Kiper jr. I really don't mind him too much.

What bugs me is when Chris Berman (who has the answer too...) - gives coy little hints about who is going to be drafted as the commish walks up to the podium. Man, that bugs me...Let the commish say the guys name, a little suspense you know?

This probably bugs me too much - but for whatever reason...well, it bugs me.

Also, there should be an official title for the guy who takes over announcing players names in the second round. I am sure he has an official title for the job he has the other 363 days of the year - I'm sure his normal title is something like:

Assistant NFL Commisioner

or

Assistant to the NFL Commisioner

...But a draft specific title would be good. You know:

Senior Reality Check Official

Kid Disappointment

Put two TVs in the room. No sound for the Pacers.

Will also be listening to ESPN Radio (as long as local baseball games are not on) while doing yard work. Whne chores are done, I'll be following on the internet and watching ESPN, alas I no longer have the NFL Network.
