NFL Draft Inside Linebacker Rankings (1 Viewer)

Nice job again SB....I've seen Joseph down in my neck of the woods (So. Fla.) & he can play. If he lands in an ideal/good spot he has a shot at making an impact (unlike Dizon who did last year & still couldn't). After seeing Mayock rank Brinkley @ #3 for ILB's and reading what you wrote about him (sure top 3 pre injury) it will be interesting to see where/how high he goes.

How big a gap between the top 2 in your opinion? I mean, most have them the top 2 but say similar things as you did (Ray M has the skills while James L is the leader type - sounds like a combo of both would be a Willis type). How good could Ray M be for IDP if he lands in a decent spot? All the talk predraft has been Curry but if he ends up playing SAM somewhere his #'s "may" not be as stellar as some are wishing. Also, a lot of guys I've heard called "on field" leaders but lacking "some" skills have a higher bust rate IMO since they need to outplay someone more talented in order to be able to display that leadership. Otherwise they just become a decent NFL (ie: team) player but never an IDP star (James L's Senior year worries me too, in other words).

THANKS again for these writeups - looking forward to the next one....

Im LB hungry in a team i just took over. We start 4 LB and they score well.

I have 1.03, 1.07 and 2.03

I know its early but i am leaning to RB at 1.03 and ILB at 1.07 & 2.03. I need LB points ASAP and i cant afford to risk missing out on a potential stud ILB.

Looking at the draft class, even before seeing where they end p, Im not sure i see 2 guys worth picks that early

I need to trade. Any tips on buy low candidates or suggestions on older guys who i can hire for a year or 2?

Keith Brooking and Zach Thomas could get some decent tackle totals, and Brooking might have decent shelf life.I like Michael Boley as a buy low as long as your scoring system doesnt emphasize tackles too much.Mike Peterson should start on the weak side for Atlanta and probably has some good football left in him.Eric Barton and Andra Davis should come ultracheap and they might be decent LB4/LB5 types with good tackle numbers.Ill post more as I think of em

I ended up concluding that Thomas was finished by watching the last three games last year. The Week #16 game against BAL was laughable....two assits against a team that was allowing a league high number of tackles to ILB's. It ended up costing me a League title....but I was able to pay real good attention to what Thomas was accomplishing (or in this case, not accomplishing).Don't count on Thomas to do any more than wave as they go by and collect his roster cash. He was TERRIBLE.

Burnett, Kevin ILB-SDC is your man.

If you can get Aaron Curry @ 1.07 and Rey Maulugua @ 2.03, they seem like 'worthy' picks considering you're in a start 4 LB league where LB's score well. Both of those guys are almost guaranteed studs in my opinion.
