NFL Network fantasy rankings/projections (1 Viewer)

This may be a stupid question, so forgive my ignorance. Ive been seeing FF rankings and projections on NFL Network and am wondering what the deal is. Check out these screenshots and tell me why anyone would take these seriously, or how these lists are compiled.

This pic shows some kicker rankings/proj, with Matt Bryant listed as kicker #6, with a projected 1 point vs WAS. Ummm...what? This isnt an anomaly, theres all kinds of crazy projections in these lists.

This screenshot shows some of the RB rankings and projections...do they seriously think Matthews will get almost 37 points against the Saints? WTF.

And finally, some WR projections. Roddy White projected to have 6.70 points, and Julio Jones projected at have 23.70 against the Redskins.

Now, I dont use these projections, and I usually dont pay any attention them, but I just happened to notice them and wonder who the hell comes up with these, and what the reasoning behind them might be??

Also, in what order are these lists? At first I thought maybe they were YTD FF points along with their weekly projections, but this simply cant be the case. Matthews isnt anywhere close to a top 10 back in any scoring system, and even if they thought he would get those 36 points, why would Richardson be ranked ahead of him with 14.10 projected points?

Is it just me, or are these lists just all sorts of wacky? :loco:

They suck. That's all I have to say. I remember their preseason projection for D'angelo Williams' rush totals were like 1500 yards and 16 tds. They say that their projections are provided by Madden 13.

Actual photos of your TV screen? I for one admire your dedication to our game! As to your question, yes, those lists would seem to be multiple sorts of wacky.See you at the "Living with OCD" meeting next Tuesday!

Apparently, the order is their rankings going forward, and the projections are just for this week. If you go onto NFL.com and click the fantasy tab, the rankings match your pictures, and so do the weekly projections.

That being said, they do seem like crap projections, and it does say that they are based on Madden 13 simulations. Matt Bryant is projected for 1 point, yet they have Ryan projected for 3 TDs. I guess Bryant got hurt in the Madden simulation, or something.
