Just how I had remembered the deal. Thought KC was given the first two years.

I know nothing about a "deal", just figured the last thing the NFL wanted was for another lockup with 1 team on Thanksgiving (for any length of time) given the #####ing about Detroit and Dallas having a monopoly on the turkey day games.

Obviously I'm wrong here. I just sorta remembered it. Don't sweat it.
I understand that the majority of good teams are not on the West Coast, but can't they do better than that?!?

Cards niners will be just fine. Tons of fantasy implications in that game - leinart,Fitz,Edge,Gore,VDavis.

Funny thing about the SuperBowl, you actually have to win your playoff games to get there. Go figure.But I am pumped for the Bears - Bolts (SuperBowl that should have been.....)...

Guzalot is right.You know, Dan, the Colts "should have been" in the Super Bowl following the 2005 season, but they lost at home to the Steelers.They could have cried about it all off-season, but instead they stayed focused and won the next Super Bowl.Let's see if the Chargers are that tough in 2007. my favorite of the openig games is the san fran/ az game . the colts are in a dome (yuk) . the cowboys a dome with a hole in the roof (yuk) . san fran has a great football field with a historical feel . also the cards and 49ers are a couple interesting teams going into this year . sf seemed on the verge of a possible playoff bid for this year at the end of 06. cards might finally have a good coach and will be interesting to see how much lienhart has grown .
