Was curious as to where it stood after Bens performance on Monday night.

Figured others might enjoy a look-see. Might be some errors (its late).

Through their first 50 or so games of career

(53) TBrady 26.2years: 80 Tds - 43 Int ------ 83.5 QB rating ------- 11,616yards ----------- 6.78ypa - 40-13 record - 6-0+ in playoffs*

(53) CPalmer 27.11years: 94 Tds - 53 Int ---- 91.4 QB rating ---- 12,961yards ------------ 7.38ypa - 27-26 record - 0-1 playoff

(53) PManning 25.7years: 94 Tds - 67 Int ---- 85.6 QB rating ---- 13,711yards ----------- 7.42ypa - 28-25 record - 0-2 playoff

(54) DMcNabb 26years: 71 TDs - 38 Int ------ 79.3 QB Rating ----- 9,835yards ------------ 7.48yps - 30-19 record** - 4-3 playoffs

(49) BigBen 25.7years: 72 Tds[78] - 49 Int[53] - 91.9 QB rating - 10,261yards [11,098] - 8.23ypa - 35-14 record - 5-1 playoffs

* only partial 2004 used (first six games at 6-0), would complete a terrific 04 campaign and win 3rd title.

** no record given for 5 partial games in '99 (all 5 were Eagle losses) as he did not start.

Brady and Roethlisberger have the rings in their first 50 games. That's what stands out to me. Early in their carer, they won the must-win games. Roethlisberger's one playoff loss is to Brady, too.

why pro-rate here? Why not just wait for 4 more games before posting this? Also - how did you arrive at 53 or 54 games as the cutoff for this evaluation? I'm not trying to be critical because the conclusion would likely be the same, I'm just curious.

1- Because my intent was to look at Ben. Which I did last night, not in four weeks from now.2- There were easy points to look at (for me) for compiling the stats. Palmer has 53 games right now, McNabb had 54 at exactly 4 years completed.
