NFL Team Draft (1 Viewer)

So my buddy and I do a big money team draft every year. The rules are simple: if you draft the eventual champ, you win. If you draft the champ, and also the superbowl loser, you win double. Only other caveat is that I get the Cowboys every year and he gets the Steelers every year. Whoever wins the previous year gets to choose if they want pick 1, or picks 2 and 3, and then we pick two at a time from thereon until all 32 teams are selected. He won last year and is taking the Colts at #1. Who should I take with my next two picks??? Right now I'm leaning towards the Vikings and Saints (to go with the Cowboys), but I'm thinking maybe Jets over one of them. He's almost certainly going to take the Chargers and whichever one of these three I leave on the table with his next two. Thoughts??? (feel free to move this to the AC forum if it doesn't generate a discussion on superbowl favorites/odds to win, etc).

What? :goodposting:

take 2/3

youll get saint or colts and the jets... almost a lock for 2/3 of those teams being there, if not all 3

That is the point...besides the Cowboys those are the top 4 teams for me.
youre telling me you have the bengals rated above the jets, saints and colts?Im fine with GB, sure... vikings, not happening. Chargers, doubtful, but maybe. Bengals....? C'MON MAN!!!

I think he means from the drafting perspective, I take the Vikes and Chargers at 2 and 3. Then my buddy takes the Saints and Jets at 4/5. Then I take Pack/Bengals at 6/7.I'm having trouble selling myself on the Chargers, I think I'd rather have the Jets or Saints. Everything aligned last year for the Saints, especially getting turnovers. If they regress just a little in that department, I don't think they'll get back to the superbowl. I love that I'll probably get the Packers with the 6/7 slots. Can't decide between Bengals, Ravens, Pats, or possibly Giants with the other team in the 6/7 slot.

I forgot about the Colts to......Top 6 in order.....Colts, Cowboys, Packers, Vikings, Bengals, Chargers.

There is no way the Jets are going to the SB with Sanchez as there QB, Pittsburgh will be struggling to even make it into the playoffs this year.

Playoffs:

AFC

Colts

Bengals

Chargers

Jets

Texans

Ravens

NFC

Cowboys

Falcons

Packers

49ers

Vikings

Giants

So out of those teams, i think my list is pretty reasonable.

1 - Cowboys

2 - Colts

3 - Saints

4 - Vikes

5 - Jets

6 - Ravens

7 - Packers

8 - Bengals

9 - Pats

10 - Eagles

I would pick them in this order...
