Nicks and his value going forward (1 Viewer)

Where does he stand in the WR depth chart now that he's "close to 100%" and Eli's had the bye week to rest up?

1-10?

10-20?

20-30?

Ect...

I want to start him.. I REALLY REALLY want to..

but I have Denario Alexander in because he's hot. I have Jordy Nelson in, and Eric Decker in. Both of those 2 have good matchups. I may put in Nicks for Decker, but I can't see myself getting him in over Nelson or DX. Eli hasn't been himself lately, but he's going to have to chuck it at home vs GB. Honeslty, since Ed Reed is playing he may go in over DX.. I really have no clue what I'm doing lol..

not an AC post, but I value him in the same group as those I have, not above, not below.

Almost started Chris Givens over him this week. Then thought better of it. Nicks is in there but I ain't confident.

He's a WR #1 every week, no matter how much he has underperformed this year.

He is fit finally. This guy is a stud. FBG have him WR24 in my fomat. I think it's closer to WR10 or better.

He is a huge but low IMO.

I have both Eli and Nicks, and am REALLY struggling this week. I know they will both get hot, but WHEN? Will it be this week, or next? I have Calvin (started obviously), Decker, Nicks, Mike Williams TB and Vernon Davis (non TE mandatory). I'm leaning Decker and Davis. Davis is the reach, but he looked great last week and the game at NO will be a shootout. Saints can't guard anybody, especially TE's. So while I like Nicks and Williams (both good matchups), I'm still leaning towards Decker. You know Peyton gets his. Flowers should be on Thomas.

So, I like Nicks and Eli going forward. Great schedules, and too good to stay down. Giants overall have been known to be more of a rollercoaster team than most, but when they are good they are really good. They will get hot late.

Well, decided to put him in over D.Alexander. Jordy, Nicks, and Decker today. We'll see how it works out. Nicks has the ability to take over a game and though Capers is a good DC, He can't stop Cruz and Nicks both. Maybe neither of them.

Traded for Nicks giving up Bowe 3 weeks ago.

I'm holding him for the stretch run/playoffs.

He started to heat up last week and I think he does well again this week.

My prediction is 6 catches for 85 yds. and 1 TD.

I have A Johnson already in the bag this week and Marshall ahead of Nicks because Cutler is back.

went with him, and boy do I need him since it's our league's doubleheader week...Sitting Eli for Cam though, and I don't feel great about it.

He's back.

Looks as good as ever, and is being targeted like crazy.

He didn't look that great on those two fades to the corner in the endzone. Not that either were great passes. But at least he is putting up points tonight, so I'm not too worried.

Looked fine to me. They were thought throws and he tried to make a play on them...I'm not sure either was realistically catchable.Even if they were catchable, the fact that he has been targeted multiple times in the end zone is a great sign.this makes two games in a row with double digit targets as well.Counting the touchdown, he is up to 5 targets in the endzone tonight. I love it.

He got a nice back shoulder pass that was PI but the flag didn't stand due to tip ball.

That's the target you want to see from nicks. Inside the 5, a ball he can out muscle the DB.

#$@#45 so much for that strategy. Lost by 3 points. Guess what the difference was between Nicks and Marshall. 4 points, which would have given me the victory :wall: No way I could have sat Marshall. The FF Gods strike me down today :hot:

I agree with this. The back shoulder, or quick slant, seems to have a far better shot than that fade/jump ball route right now. Maybe they just need to work on the timing more. They'll figure it out. Glad to see how much Nicks was targeted, all over the field. Good stuff. Great to see Eli wake up too. I think he starts one of his patented streaks and will be in my lineup from here on out..

He looks better but you can still tell he is like 80 percent out there. I would feel safe with him as my wr3/flex going forward. He is going to have nice games like this but he is going to have bad games too, I don't see him having of his wr1 games the rest of this year, you know the 8 or 9 for 150 and 2 touchdowns.

Nicks isn't the problem, it's Eli that sucks balls right now. He sucks at throwing the jump ball to him. It seems like he's forgotten how to just lob it up there. And those sideline throws, he misses Nicks badly. Doesn't even give him a chance. Luckily he kept targeting him but Eli, at least when he passes to Nicks, looks ugly right now.
