pretty much you walk around using your phone pokemon style with the flash light on at night. Random ghosts or things will appear.

Very cool stuff.  The engine that learns and renders the map within the game is the most valuable part of that game.  They could package that and resell it.  I'm sure that would make more money than that game ever will.

Wow... this looks awesome. 

Seems pretty immersive with the spatialized audio, live AI mapping of the environment, etc. Can imagine a next generation of this using VR goggles (ie oculus rift) being pretty insane.

Yep.  And wait until they figure out how to add peripherals (ie - a gun you plug into your phone).

ETA: That of course would open them up to all kinds of potential legal issues (some fool walking into a mall playing the game with a "gun" in his hand), so they'll have to make it so you can't play the game in public places or whatever.
