While I agree that Zimmerman deserved it, this isn't really that egregious in my book. Zimmerman's the best defensive third basemen in the game, he's likely gonna win the award for most of the next decade, and he was a little worse defensively this year than last. Rolen's 35- I see this as a final tribute to a career defensive whiz who bounced back when everyone wrote him off. I would have thought the fact that Rolen only played in 130 games would have cost him, but I guess not.
